What Should You Look for When Picking a Wholesale Rental Tablecloth Vendor? – Part 3

Location, location, location!

In the special event industry, image really does matter. The visual artistry and appealing look for any event is what will make your clients be amazed at what you have accomplished, and it also helps secure bookings with brand new clients. Reliable vendor relationships go a long way in helping someone ensure a strong business presence when you are dealing with the general public. Having to change wholesale rental tablecloth vendors can cause headaches and confusion for not only your customers, but also for your employees if it not undertaken carefully.

This seven-part blog will address sourcing and attaining a wholesale rental tablecloth vendor, which is a very important task. This series will provide you with helpful tools and guidelines to make the best choice for your company. There are 7 key elements to address when you are working through your selection process. This post will focus on the very important element of vendor location.

LOCATION - Be sure to check the location of where the vendor is operating, and check where they are shipping from. You can determine if delivery to your location is an option, or if you will be able to get their tablecloths through a shipping service like UPS or FedEx. Ask about their shipping policies and which shipping provider they prefer to use. Consider the return of the rented tablecloths also: what are the requirements for the return on your end? Is there a return label provided? Are there extra costs to factor in? Those additional costs for delivery or shipping will need to be factored into the pricing you provide to your customer.

If delivery is going to be available to you, be sure to ask if there are certain days of the week they come to your area. Will their schedule fit with your business needs and workflow to satisfy your customers on time and without rushing?

You can always ask to come and tour the facility yourself to not only get a feel for their business, but to check out the location itself. Face to face interaction can help with the vendor relationship by fostering trust and solidifying your decisions.
